Pickup from Srinagar and drive to Dal Lake, Check in Houseboats / Hotel. and sightseeing, Mughal Garden, Pari Mahal, Chasme Shahi Garden and Evening Sikara Ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay.
After breakfast Check out Houseboat / Hotel and visit to Shankra chariya Temple or direct drive to Kargil Via Sonamarg and crossing the Zoji-la pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 mtrs) en-route. Drass, the first town over the pass is famous as the 2nd coldest inhabited place in the world. About an hour's drive down the valley from Drass is Kargil, 2nd largest town of Ladakh and headquarters of Kargil district. Overnight in the hotel at Kargil.
In the morning leave for Leh, enroute viewing / visiting the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining "Moonland" hills forming its backdrop. Driving further on along the Indus, visit Sanagm (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara & Hall of Fame (museum of military heritage). Reach Leh in the evening. Overnight in hotel.
After Breakfast Full Day Monastery Sightseeing visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Shey Palace, 3Idiot School and after sightseeing check in Hotel and overnight in hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft).
Visit to Diskit Monastery after drive to Hunder. On your arrival in Hunder check in the camp., After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Hunder.
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village with the whole population of muslims still resembles mini Pakistan. The village's inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone.
Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Though a muslim village, there are few gompas located on the plateau above Shyok River and there is a old royal house to see in village. Return to Hundar by the evening. Overnight stay in Camp , Hunder
After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik ( Pangong).
It's a short cut and it's a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Overnight stay in Camp.
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la Pass. Upon reaching Leh Visit to Local Market and Rest Overnight stay.
After breakfast or early morning check out hotel and transfer to the airport and fly back to your destination, with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
